At 14, I was involved in a bicycle accident that injured much of the area around my left eye. Thankfully, my sight was left intact and after numerous reconstructive surgeries, function in this eye had been stable for 30 years. Therefore, it was with some trepidation that I sought out Dr McMillin to help with a pterygium that had developed more recently and was affecting my vision. My concern was finding a care provider with the engagement and expertise to consider all of the history and extenuating circumstances to help develop a thoughtful and comprehensive approach. I am pleased to report that Dr McMillin far exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled with the care that he and his team provided. From pre-op to after-care, everyone was friendly, thoughtful, answered all of our questions, accommodated some unique requests, and helped us to feel confident and cared for throughout the process. As a result, my wife and I have found our eye guy and we highly recommend Dr McMillin to you and yours.

Great experience with this office. Dr. Jake McMillan was very attentive and addressed all of my concerns. Had cataract surgery on both eyes. He even called me at home after surgery to check up on me. Very impressed. Will recommend him. Staff at this office was very accomodating and helpful.

I havent had an eye appointment in a few years so I really needed to update my prescription and frames. I saw that the Hardin Valley location was hosting a Trunk Show so I stopped by and picked out some new frames. The employees at the store were super helpful and gave honest feedback on which frames suited my face and personal style which was important and much appreciated since I had gone alone. I ended up picking out a super cute pair of Vera Wang frames and got a great deal since they were having an event. While at the office I scheduled my appointment for an eye exam. Rebekah was kind and got my appointment booked easily!At my appointment I saw Dr. Kibler for my eye exam. She was so patient and thorough, I didnt feel rushed at all and she asked questions to get to know my lifestyle and vision concerns more. She even did a Glaucoma exam since one of my results was slightly abnormal. Throughout the exam she explained everything in detail and provided me with a plan of action moving forward.After my appointment, I saw the optician, since I already had frames picked out we discussed lens options. Since I work on a computer all day and have started to experience more headaches as a result we decided to add the Crizal Blue Blocking lens coating.I have had my new glasses for about 2 weeks now and I am beyond happy with the service I received and the way my new glasses look and function. I will definitely be visiting an EyeCare Optical location again when I need another exam!
