CCLC Voted Best LASIK In Readers’ Poll

Campbell Cunningham Laser Center, Knoxville’s first on-site laser center dedicated to LASIK vision correction, was recently voted the winner of the LASIK Surgery category by readers of the Knoxville News Sentinel as part of the newspaper’s annual Best of Knoxville readers’ choice awards. In addition, the practice of Drs. Campbell, Cunningham, Taylor and Haun was voted a favorite in the Optometrist category.

In all, more than 200,000 votes were cast online and via the print version of the daily publication. The winners were announced in a special section of the News Sentinel that published September 4.

“On behalf of all the physicians at Campbell Cunningham Laser Center and Drs. Campbell, Cunningham, Taylor & Haun, I’d like to express how grateful we are for the show of support we received from the readers of the Knoxville News Sentinel,” said Dr. Phillip Campbell. “It’s always reassuring to us to know that so many people have placed their trust in us and have honored us with a vote of confidence. We will continue to make it our top priority to earn that trust by providing the highest quality of eye care possible to the communities of East Tennessee.”

Campbell Cunningham Laser Center is part of Drs. Campbell, Cunningham, Taylor & Haun, an eye-care practice that has cared for the eyes of East Tennesseans since 1952. The practice’s main office is on Weisgarber Road in Knoxville, Tennessee, with offices in Sevierville, Maryville and Farragut. Their newest facility will open in Fountain City in late October of this year.

Drs. Philip Campbell, Les Cunningham, Toby Taylor and Kirk Haun routinely treat patients for age-related eye diseases, such as cataract, blepharitis, dry eyes, macular degeneration, glaucoma and more. Dr. Mathew Cole is a retina specialist in Knoxville, Maryville and Sevierville, treating patients with retina diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein and artery occlusions, retinal tears, macular hole and more.

The practice is also the first in the area to have a dedicated ambulatory surgical center devoted to eye surgery.
