The center’s history dates back to 1997, when Dr. Philip Campbell and Dr. Les Cunningham established the area’s first practice-based onsite LASIK surgical facility. Their goal was to give East Tennessee patients access to advanced laser vision correction without having to leave the region.
Today, Campbell Cunningham Laser Center continues that tradition while offering Clear Vision Solutions designed for patients at different ages and stages of life.

PRK

Refractive Lens Exchange

Refractive Lens Exchange, or RLE, replaces the eye’s natural lens with an artificial intraocular lens to address refractive errors and may be an option for certain patients who are no longer ideal candidates for procedures such as LASIK.
Cataract Surgery
When the natural lens becomes cloudy due to a cataract, cataract surgery removes the cloudy lens and replaces it with a clear intraocular lens. Modern lens options can also provide opportunities to address certain vision correction needs at the time of cataract surgery.
